Recognizing Black Excellence in Business and Leadership
The BBR 50 Most Influential Black Business Leaders of 2026 is Black Business Review’s flagship annual recognition honoring leaders making measurable impact in business, entrepreneurship, innovation, economic development, and community advancement.
The initiative celebrates executives, founders, investors, creators, and professionals helping shape the future of Black business nationally and globally.
The BBR 50 was created to highlight leadership, ownership, innovation, influence, and long-term economic impact across multiple industries.

How Honorees Are Selected
Each nominee is evaluated based on the following criteria:

Demonstrated leadership within industry or organization.
Business Growth — 20%
Company growth, expansion, revenue growth, or operational success.
Community Influence — 20%
Commitment to mentorship, advocacy, philanthropy, or community development.
Innovation — 15%
Industry innovation, creativity, and forward-thinking leadership.
Industry Leadership — 10%
Professional recognition and influence within industry sector.
Public Recognition — 10%
Awards, media presence, and public accomplishments.
