PEOPLE ON THE MOVE
Black Business Review recognizes Brandon M. Wylie, MBA, CFSP, as a business leader continuing to bridge tradition, innovation, and community leadership through his work with Wylie Funeral Homes and his growing influence across Baltimore’s business and civic landscape.
As Chief Executive Officer of Wylie Funeral Homes, Wylie has helped guide one of Maryland’s most respected family-owned funeral service organizations while continuing a legacy of compassionate service that has impacted thousands of families across Baltimore City and Baltimore County. Under his leadership, the organization has expanded its reach and strengthened its reputation as a trusted community institution.
The son of founder Albert P. Wylie, Brandon made history as one of the youngest licensed morticians in Maryland and has spent more than two decades helping modernize the funeral profession while maintaining the personal touch and dignity families deserve during life’s most difficult moments.
Beyond funeral services, Wylie has emerged as a respected entrepreneur, speaker, and advocate for financial literacy, wealth preservation, and community empowerment. His recent participation in Baltimore’s Money Moves Financial Summit during CIAA Week highlighted his commitment to educating families about generational wealth and long-term financial planning.
