A Baltimore-based entrepreneur, media personality, and CEO of Sonjé Productions, DeCaires has spent nearly two decades building a respected full-service marketing, promotions, and event management agency known for producing impactful, community-centered experiences. Her firm has partnered with major organizations including Xfinity and the CIAA, helping brands connect authentically with audiences through experiential marketing, fundraising initiatives, and strategic event planning.

Born in Guyana and arriving in the United States at the age of four, DeCaires built her early reputation in media. She previously co-hosted and produced “The Big Phat Morning Show” on WERQ-FM and also worked behind the scenes booking guests for Comcast On Demand. That blend of media savvy, relationship-building, and promotional strategy became the foundation for what would evolve into a powerhouse Baltimore agency.

Under her leadership, Sonjé Productions has earned recognition as a certified MBE/DBE/SBE contractor, and DeCaires is also a graduate of the prestigious Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program.
